Building on a 2025 briefing paper, “Private Financial Actors and Financialisation in Global Health”, the group is conducting further research and producing briefing papers which explain existing blended finance dynamics and propose alternative policy approaches.

As different blended finance arrangements require slightly different approaches for good design and governance, the group has compiled a range of type-specific guidelines and standards for designing, governing and assessing blended finance initiatives.
